Outdoor Climbing - Learn to Sport Climb

  • This is an advanced climbing course for those who have already completed a Leading Level Winners course with me and feel confident to start leading in outdoor environments.

  • You must have done an Indoor Climbing - Leading Level course with me, and must be a confident lead climber and belayer.

  • As Pembrokeshire is a National park, it is protected from being bolting, and therefore all trad! The closest sport crag is Telpyn, just passed Amroth (which happens to be one of my favourite crags!) - Sadly as it is a tidal crag, I cannot take clients here professionally. However there are a multitude of non-tidal sport crags further north and east of Wales, where I can run these courses. Location TBC upon discussion of availability.

  • 6 hours

• We will meet at the crag venue car park (car sharing options may be available), and after an initial meet and greet we will head out to the crag for the day. I will gradually introduce new skills and build on these as the day progresses. The day will end at 4pm with time for feedback and discuss the next steps for your climbing progression.
