Indoors
- Water & Snacks
- Warm layers
- Any personal medication along with instructions
- Climbing shoes – the best shoes for climbing are rock-climbing shoes, however if you don’t have these then trainers or skate shoes are fine if they can be tied up tight and are flat (non-squishy) in the toes – so you can feel the footholds on the wall. In some climbing centres it is possible to rent climbing shoes.
- Hair bobble – for long haired people to keep up out of the way of the belay device
- Chalk & bag (can be provided).
Please feel free to bring any climbing gear that you have. I will check that they are suitable and safe for use prior to using them. This includes harness, belay device and carabiners. Also lead ropes if you are on the leading course.
