Wild Women Camping Buddy

This is not for beginner hikers. It’s a friendly service for women who may be keen to take their adventuring further, camping out under the stars after a long day hiking, or even a multi-day hike, but might feel anxious doing this alone. You create the plans, you choose the route, and you are entirely in control, you are creating the adventure. I’m just there to support you, to keep you company, and make you feel safe.

I am a Mountain Leader Trainee, a qualified Wilderness First Responder, and a skilled multi-day hiker and camper, and I can bring all of these skills and experience to this adventure.

[Note: this is not a guided hike and I will not be in control of navigation, although I will call it if I think we’re wandering into unsafe territory.] If you would prefer to be guided then I have a wonderful friend Gemma who is a qualified Mountain Leader and can offer these services.

This service is only available to females and those who have already done at least 2 courses/experiences with Vertical Victories. This is for my own safety, as much as yours. You will also need to be in good physical health and I will require you to fill out a medical form (just as any other course I offer).

Exchange amount depends on duration and location of adventure. Duration will also depend on availability. Please get in touch with your ideas and I’d be happy to chat :)

Location is something that can be discussed - I am based in Wales but I travel often and with plenty of planning something can be worked out - just get in touch with your exciting plans and I’ll see what I can do!
