Where every climb is a triumph.

Please let me introduce myself, my name is Tor.

I am a qualified Rock Climbing Instructor, accredited by Mountain Training, and the first thing you should know about me is that I LOVE my job! Climbing changed my life in so many positive ways, and I am passionate in helping people access these same opportunities; for their health, personal development, travel, and community - I love inspiring others, and all whilst working in the Great Outdoors; moving my body, exercising my brain, and breathing that fresh air.

I am 30 years old and I am based in the beautiful countryside of Pembrokeshire in Wales, climbing on the sea cliffs of the Pembroke range where I generally run my courses. I split my time between here in Wales and with my partner in Vienna.

My love for climbing began high on Idwal Slabs in North Wales. I was on an Introduction to Climbing course in 2018, on my first multi-pitch looking out into the valley and down at Llyn Idwal. Right then, I knew I wanted to do this for the rest of my life, and share this wholesome and life changing experience with others.

Since then I have climbed in the beautiful countryside, mountains and sea cliffs of Wales, England, Spain, France, Morocco, Austria and Sardinia.

I have extensive experience in traditional and sport climbing, and teaching the ropes is what I enjoy the most. The only kind of bouldering I like is the indoor winter kind to socialise and get strong for summer, or the glorified picnic kind in the Preseli Hills, or beach-level traversing in the sun… oh and some friendly deep water soloing!

What I love most is getting out into nature with great views, breathing that fresh air, connecting with like-minded and easy going climbing community, and meditatively moving forward and problem solving on big climbing adventures.

I am a student with the Open University, studying Psychology and Counselling, with the goal of delivering professional counselling climbing sessions in the coming years. I am interested in learning from you as much as you will learn from me, and in that 2 way connection I believe greater, trusting bonds are created.

I have made my bestest friends through climbing, I have found safety and solace in some of my darkest times supported by a community of kind hearted, open-minded and wonderfully weird climbers. If you’re looking for community, then look no further. You will find friends here.
